I worked with Joan at HD Randall for some time. I introduced her to my mother and they went out to the movies and for lunch a few times.
Joan was always there with a helpful way. I am very sorry to hear of her sudden death.

Joan was always kind to me in a soft spoken way. She gave me a secure feeling when I would visit with her. My sympathy goes out to her family and friends. She will be remembered. Victoria Young.

We first met Joan when she rented a cottage from us in early 1980 and then worked with her at Randall. She was an interesting woman and had an active life. I would call her Joanie Maronie and she would call me Linda Belinda. I wish I had stopped to visit more often, but......... I last saw her a few days before she died and will remember her as she was that day.
