Helen (Kallen) Madden Obituary

Helen M. (Kallen) Madden, 95, formerly of North Stonington, died peacefully on Oct. 17, 2007, at the Riverview Health Center in Coventry. She was the beloved wife of the late George Madden.
Born in New York City on March 2, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Hanna (Nelin) Kallen.
Mrs. Madden worked for Bristol Meyers and Squibb in Stonington for many years before her retirement.
Helen was a member of the North Stonington Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the North Stonington Senior Citizens, Stonington Senior Citizens and Stonington Community Center.
She was a communicant of St. Thomas Moore Church in North Stonington.
Mrs. Madden will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother George W. Kallen.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at 9:30 a.m. in the Union Cemetery, Route 49, North Stonington. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St., Westerly.
