My condolences to the family of Charles L. Semprebon. Though I am a distant relative (the youngest son of the late Americo "Soup" Semprebon and my mom Cleo Semprebon of Barre/Montpelier) losing a loved one or hearing of the loss of someone else's loved ones affects us all in different ways; my heart goes out to you.
But we have promises - no, we have guarantees!- from the Bible that can comfort us during these difficult times. (John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3,4).
Take care.

I enjoyed riding with Charlie to Santa Fe and getting to know him. He was always very pleasant with a smile on his face. After his last ride, he greeted me when done with a cheery "another good day" as he walked into the hotel. My sympathies to his family.

I became aware today of Charles' untimely death from my aunt, who is a close friend of the family. I met him around 1980 when he moved into an apartment adjacent to mine in Essex Junction. I recognized his name at the time because my mom knew his mother; i.e., the Barre connection. Thinking back I remember stopping over to visit him a couple of times and remember a bike being in the apt. or on the deck and being carried up and down the outside stairs.
I send my condolences to his family and friends...

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Charlie's passing. I enjoyed playing Racquetball with Charlie. He was a tough competitor. I only had the opportunity to bike with Charlie one time, but it was very evident the passion he had for the sport.

He will be missed.

Dear friends,

It wasn't but a week before his passing that Charlie and I shared some time together. He was instrumental in my learning to understand the wonders of flight, and he never stopped encouraging me to visit Italy. He was steady, which counts a lot these days, and I enjoyed his dry humor, which he always seemed able to point my way.

I offer my sympathies to the entire family. I will miss him.
