To the family of Tom,
I can't tell you how saddened I was to hear of your Dads passing. He was one of my most favorite people and I loved him like a brother. We spent many days together at Lake Nebagamon and Tom was always so appreciative of someones elses cooking. He taught me to make a great Italian salad and it was often requested at his gatherings. At Tom's last visit to Lake Nebagamon he helped me paint my new townhome and we went to visit his friends in Brule. We all loved him and feel a great loss.

Dear family, one of my earliest memories of my uncle Tom, i was probably about 6 years old and our family would go to our cousins home on stillwater road, since they had a big yard ,Tom had a riding lawn mower with a pull behind cart,i remember him letting us drive the rider, how exciting for a young kid,but it didnt seem to worry uncle Tom. I always thought of tom as the" cool"uncle ,once during Dicks infamous forth of july parties,i was probably about ten or so, when we arrived i still remember Tom sitting out front on a fence ,he was wearing a cowboy hat,his hair was a bit longer than usual and he either had long side burns or a beard,i know we were at Dicks ,but to me we had just arrived somewhere out west at TOMS DUDE RANCH! I remember my mother not being to crazy about his look, but my brother and i sure thought uncle Tom looked Cool. One more quick memory,Tom at my grandmothers hundredth bday party,he was wearing a new hat this time ,a tweed cap ,but this time instead of being "cool" he looked distinguished, older, wiser ,maybe more reserved. But when it came time to sing happy bday to gram,Tom pulled out a harmonica and played happy bday, i didnt know he played, and he was good too,no he didnt dissapoint me ,he was still cool uncle Tom.I think the best way to pay tribute to a person,is to tell others about him and that you liked him,and i certainly liked my "UNCLE TOM" NEPHEW, John

To the family of Tom,
My prayers and sympathy go out to all of you. I would often run into Tom in White Bear Lake and he alway loved to stop and talk. I will miss him. Tom was my mothers cousin and I have many fond memories of him at his fathers cabin on the 4th of July. I am out of town and cannot attend the service, but I will say a prayer for him and his family.

Dear Family of Tom
My husband, mother-in-law and I knew Tom from the Eagles. He was such a gentleman. Always greeted you with a smile when you would come in. I loved to just sit and talk with him, as did everyone. I was so impressed with how he would cook for this place or that place, go and get groceries or whatever for this person or that person. Always there to lend a hand. And the fact that he was biking everywhere just amazed me so. I was so very saddened when I heard today of his passing. He will truly be missed at the Eagles, where he lived, and everywhere else he went. Take care and God Bless. Barb, Dwayne and Irene Castleberry

Dear Brennan Family,

We are thinking of you at this time. Tom was a special man. He was a volunteer at our agency for several years. He provided volunteer services to many people, especially seniors. He was a great cook and handyman. Tom always had a smile to share and enjoyed talking about his children and grandchildren. We will miss his gentle presence and kindness to others.
