Diane Quick Obituary

Diane B. Quick

March 30, 1949 - October 29, 2017

Diane B. Quick passed away after a long, tough battle with multiple myeloma. She is survived by her husband, Earl Quick; her children, Heather Henderson and Bobby Black, both of Chicago, IL; her precious grandchild, Sarah Pineda; and her sisters, Susan Feinstein and Belinda Borden of Los Angeles, CA; as well as many favorite cousins, nieces, nephews, friends. Her love of life, her laughter, and devotion to her family will be missed by all.

Diane was born in Los Angeles, CA, to Albert and Bunny Black. She loved music and dancing. She sang in her school choirs and took ballet lessons throughout her teenage years. In her 30's and again in her early 40's she traveled and lived in Europe, where both of her children were born.

Diane moved back to California in the mid 1990's. She took up square dancing, where she met Earl, the love of her life. They were married in 2003, and after Earl's retirement they moved to New Mexico.

Diane crocheted hats for Tuesday's Angels and loved to sew dresses for herself and her granddaughter. She loved to square dance and sewed outfits for herself and Earl.

A celebration of Diane's life was held at the Albuquerque Square Dance Hall. It was attended by many of her family, friends, and neighbors. We wish to thank the wonderful, caring members of the Square Dance Club for their generosity in providing the moving tribute to Diane's life.
