Florence Boekeloo Obituary
Passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 in Rio Rancho, NM. June was born on August 26, 1935 to Harvey and Thyra (Engelhardt) Bryant in Deer Creek, OK. She had been a resident of Rio Rancho for almost 20 years. June married Claude Boekeloo on June 4, 1955. Prior to her retirement in 1996, she was employed as a Scheduling Manager at Georgia Pacific Paper Company, Kalamazoo MI for 35 years. June enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her parents; brother Kenneth Bryant; husband Claude Boekeloo; daughter Sally (Boekeloo) Wood; granddaughters Heather Wood and Jessica (Boekeloo) Gibson.
She is survived by her son Terry Boekeloo and daughter Susan Boekeloo both of Rio Rancho NM; three grandchildren, Brandon (Stacey) Boekeloo, Jacob Boekeloo, Amber (Vince) Antolovich; two great grandchildren, Lucas and Sydney Antolovich; sisters Joyce Walker and Carolyn (Raymond) Snyder; and several nieces and nephews.
June was laid to rest, next to her husband, daughter and granddaughter, in Prairie Home Cemetery, Richland, MI on May 2, 2023. A Celebration of June's life will be held Friday, May 19th at 9:00 a.m. at Sagebrush Church, 7555 Enchanted Hills Blvd NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144.
