Jerry Livingston Obituary
Jerry L. Livingston was born Oct. 1, 1934, and lost his long and difficult battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis on Dec. 20, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Livingston, twin sons Michael and Ronald, brother John Livingston and step-son and daughter-in-law Mike and Virginia Pitts.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 14 years, Linda Kay Pitts-Livingston, son Chris Livingston, daughter Lisa Renken (John) and grand-daughters Lauren and Paige Renken. He is also survived by his step-children David Pitts (Michelle), Randall Pitts (Katja), Karen Pitts and Pitts grand-children Ana-Lisa, Lars, Patrice, Amelie & Brandon. He also leaves behind a large and much loved extended family.
Jerry was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a fine artist and gifted craftsman. He became an Underwater Scientific Illustrator in 1971 and drew many ship wrecks for the National Park Service. The most notable of these was the USS Arizona in Oahu, Hawaii. He was a kind, loving and generous man with a great sense of humor. He will be terribly missed by all who were privileged to know him. The family thanks Dr. Nazon, Ambercare Hospice and Visiting Angels for their loving care.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, 11:00a.m. At Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo del Norte, NE., 87122. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Living Water International in care of Sandia Presbyterian Church.
