Lois Seibel Obituary
Lois Ann (Gardner) Seibel, age 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on July 28th, 2023. Lois was born on November 9th, 1943 in Grenada, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Harold and Ann Gardner. Lois grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from Marquette University. She married Dr. John Seibel on July 17th, 1965. Lois and John eventually settled in Albuquerque, where they raised their family. Lois worked as a French teacher, office manager, horse show manager, and volunteered for many organizations and causes. Lois loved her family, the Chicago Cubs, and playing bridge. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dr. John "Mike" Seibel, her children and their spouses: Michael, Leigh (Rob), and Shannon (Mike); her grandchildren: John, Abagail, Jospeh, Ryan, Caitlyn, and Lauren; and her brothers, Terry (Janet) and Bob (June). Along with her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole. A funeral will be held at the Thomas Aquinas Newman Center, 1815 Las Lomas Rd NE, at 1:30pm on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023.

She was very much a presence at most of our events at AACE, accompanying John. Family was a top priority. Delightful conversationalist. I particularly remember great chats with her and Connie Trump!
