Ezra Powell Obituary

Ezra Lee Powell, 87, of Moss Bluff, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jan. 17, 2021. Ezra was a native of Urania, La., lifelong resident of Moss Bluff, La.
Ezra was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and served in the Korean War. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Moss Bluff, LA. He retired from Holsum Bread after over 38 years of employment.
Those who are left to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 64 years, Jewell Warden Powell; one son, Les Powell and wife Lisa of Moss Bluff, LA; one daughter, Brenda Lee Justice and husband Ronny of Cameron, TX; one sister, Annie Mae Gates of Deville, LA; 4 grandchildren, Chris Justice of San Diego, CA; Dawn Andrews of Cameron, TX; Jake Powell of Lake Charles, LA; Zach Powell of Moss Bluff, LA and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Lula Mae Powell and brother, Larry Powell.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the Old Richie Cemetery in Moss Bluff, La. The Rev. Ed Rose will officiate.
