Bertha Dodge Obituary

Dodge, Bertha L. (Cox) Belleville, MI Age 75, died Saturday, February 14, 2004 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Superior Township. She was born March 16, 1928 in Sandusky, MI, daughter of the late Durwood and Ruby Bland. Bertha enjoyed collecting all types of teddy bears. Bertha was married to Floyd Dodge on November 9, 1975 and he preceded her in death April 17, 1998. Survivors include three sons, Roger (Wanda) Cox of Willis, Terry (Jane) Cox of Pinckney and Robbie Cox of Belleville; eight grandchildren Jill, Kevin, Mark, Travis and Ray Cox, Jodie (Mike) Hot chkiss, Don Uchman and Kelly Stennick; three great-grand- children, Cassidy Uchman, Emma Stennick and Kaylee Hotchkiss. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Tom Brown of Ypsilanti. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Floyd; her daughter Connie Brown; and several sisters. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday at OCHALEK-STARK FUNERAL HOME, Milan, Pastor Gordon Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Marble Park Ceme tery, Milan. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association or the Michigan Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home where family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8pm
