Voulelis, Georgios 7/24/1944 - 3/5/2018 Ann Arbor Georgios Voulelis of Ann Arbor, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 73 years old. Born July 24, 1944 in Thessaloniki, Greece. He was the son of Andonis and Eleni (Vakiertzis) Voulelis. On April 27, 1970 he married Anna Kosmidou. Georgios was a simple and kind man. He didn't care about material things, but only for the love of his family. He was very mechanical and could fix anything, even doing it for you for a coffee, a handshake or a simple Thank you. In fact, if anyone in heaven is having problems with their wings, he is most likely fixing them now. Georgios is survived by his wife Anna Voulelis, their daughters, Lena Busby and Maria Malaveci (husband Stavro); three grandchildren Grant Busby, Ilia and Gianna Malaveci; two brothers; Nicholas Arhangelos (wife Kathy) and Michael Voulelis; three nephews Tony, Evan and Theo Arhangelos; and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 3109 Scio Church Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 4:30-8:00 pm at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Liberty Road Chapel, with a Trisagion service at 7:30 pm.
