Dorothy Vaughn Obituary

Graveside service for Mrs. Dorothy Lipham Vaughn, 95, of Anniston, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Forestlawn Gardens in Anniston. Rev. Tim Shultz will be officiating. Mrs. Vaughn passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at RMC in Anniston. She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin Vaughn, Jr.; son, Ronnie Vaughn; sister, Eileen Perkins. She leaves behind her children, Debbie Gillum, Terre Clark (Herb) and Tina Page (Christopher); grandchildren, Melissa Patterson (Dustin), Mallory Clark, and Jennifer Vanfleet (Nathan); great grandchildren, Rex, Loxley, Lennox, Cooper, and Andrew; brother, Gary Lipham (Mayrene); several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vaughn grew up in Randolph County. She was a current resident of Anniston and lived there most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist church at McClellan and loved the Lord. She was the owner of Vaughn's Photography in Anniston for 30 plus years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend and will be deeply missed. The Vaughn family would like to give a special thank you to Piedmont Health and Rehab unit #2 for their exceptional care and to Tim Shultz for his kindness.
