John Shelton Holder

Funeral services for John Shelton Holder, 92, will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Mr. Holder died Friday evening. Survivors include his son, Ray Holder and his wife, Kim, of Anniston; his grandsons, Tim Holder, of Jacksonville and Kyle Holder, of Douglasville, Ga.; brother, Lee Holder, of Jacksonville; step-sons, James E. O'Neal and his wife, Marilynn, of Jasper, Ga. and Harold O'Neal and his wife, Patricia, of Alexandria and step-daughters, Ann Jordan and her husband, Larry, of Hiram, Ga. and Carol Bryant and her husband, Jim, of Bethlehem, Ga. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise; his brothers, Wesley Holder, Chester Holder, Clifford Holder, Edd Holder and J.P. Holder and sisters, Belvar Harrelson Mildred Clements, Claudine Buchanan and Helen Holder. Pallbearers will be Kyle Holder, Tim Holder, Larry Jordan, Clint Jordan, Brad Jordan, Jimmy O'Neal and Jamie Bryant. Mr. Holder was a member of Greenbrier Church of Christ and was formerly employed by Lee Brass, Lockheed Aircraft, Southern Tool and Machine and General Electric Co.
