BEN RUGGIERO
AGE: 83 BERKELEY
Ben Ruggiero, 83, of the Holiday City West section of Berkeley, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at home. Born in Paterson, he lived in Wayne before moving to Holiday City West 10 years ago. Mr. Ruggiero served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a machine operator with Sun Chemical in Paterson and Carlstadt for many years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Totowa.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Passafaro Ruggiero; a son, Richard and his wife Agnes of Ogdensburg; and a grandchild, Melissa.
The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.
