Findlow, Benjamin A., 92 of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on Friday, September 25th, 2015. He was born in Paterson to Arthur & Mary Findlow and later moved with his family to Rutherford. He graduated from St. Mary High School. He then joined the United States Merchant Marines during WWII. Benjamin was married for 63 years to the love of his life, the late Irene (nee Cafaro). Together they raised their family in Rutherford where he remained for over 45 years. He was a member of St. Mary Church & Knights of Columbus in Rutherford and currently was Director of the Glee Club at his residence in Hearthstone Estates in Lakewood.

Benjamin was a man who people gravitated to. He had an infectious personality; everyone who came in contact with him wanted to be around him. He was humorous, entertaining and a great story teller. Above all, he was a very kind man and his family was most important to him.

Benjamin will be deeply missed by his devoted son Paul Findlow & his wife Kerry, his grandchildren, Paul Richard Findlow & his wife Shannon, Danielle Mary Sanders & her husband Will , Nicholas Benjamin Findlow & his wife Leah and 7 Great-grandchildren; Jake, Kali, Keaton, William, Olivia, Mercedes and Vaughn.

Funeral will be held on Thursday 10:30am from the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford for 11:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy in The Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford.

Interment in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Disease New Jersey Chapter, PO Box 910, New Brunswick, NJ. Please visit calhounmania.com
