Erin Boss Obituary
AGE: 33 • formerly of Point Pleasant
Erin Elizabeth Boss, passed away suddenly Monday, June 6, 2011. She was 33 years old, born and raised in Point Pleasant. She graduated from Wall High School in 1997 and Star Technical Institute as a phlebotomist. Erin was recently promoted to supervisor at LabCorp of America. Erin was a special person to so many people. She was devoted to her family, especially her children.
Erin was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Robert and Marian Boss; and her maternal grandparents, George and Helen Clayton. Erin was a loving mother to Aidan James and Avery Elizabeth. She is also survived by her mother, Karen Clayton-Boss, Point Pleasant; her father, David Boss, Wall; her brothers, Ryan and TJ Boss; her sister, Loren Boss; her dear friends, Amanda Burke and Craig Ramme; godmother, Patricia McCormack; the Ramme family; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 10 at the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South St., Manasquan. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 11 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery, Wall. I just found out today of Erin's passing. My heart breaks for her sweet children and family. I only knew Erin for about a month or so. She helped my special needs son and my premature twins at lab corp. SHe went out of her way for us. She even came in to draw blood for my twins on her vacation. She was such a beautiful person. I am so sad to hear this tragic news. My heart goes out to you, your family and most importantly her chidren. Karen, you are such a wonderful woman. Your heart is as big as anyone's could ever be. I will always remember how sweet and caring you are and how much you care about your family and friends. I will always be greatful to you for opening your home to me in my time of need. I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Erin. I was Erin's HS guidance counselor and we had a terrific relationship. Even as a teen she was so humorous with her one liners. Her children are beautiful. Please accept my sympathy.

My prayers and thoughts are with Erin's children, family and friends. It doesn't make sense why a wonderful person and mother had to be taken from this life. I have wonderful memories of Erin. Nothing anyone can say can ease your pain at all but know that there is now a special guardian angel for you always looking down and comforting you. I hope that one day all of you can find some peace.

Erin and Family,
Erin was a special person to me. When I met Erin we were just kids. We always stayed friends and I could go on for ever writing about our memories of her. My heart goes out to the kids and to the entire family. Were all going to miss her smile and how happy she was when she was holding her children. I will never forget out times together over the past 20 years. Erin you were a great friend and I hope I did the same for you. I am sure going to miss you, you pain in the butt! LOL! Erin, can't believe you are gone...I was just looking at the First Grade class picture from 1985 the other day, and meant to add you on facebook this week. You were always so spirited and athletic in Gym class, I envied how you could climb the rope and do chin ups. Always had a kind word for everyone...

I met Erin when I worked with her brother at Gee Gee's Arcade in 8th grade. When I turned 17 Erin and I always took rides and hung out. Ever since then we became good friends and great friends as years rolled along. There are so many things I can say about Erin (all good of course). I can remember picking Erin up at her Grandparents house on Parker Avenue. Good ole George wasn't too thrilled but he knew she would return back nice and safe. The Clayton Family always was nothing but the nicest family that anyone could meet. I've known the family since I was a very young child. I could go on forever but I won't. Erin was a very special person. Could she be a pain in the butt sure but Erin was one of those friends I never said "No" to. She had this crazy idea a number of years ago about going to Atlantic City at 2am after we were out all night. Guess what we went to AC at 2am on Easter Morning! Funny Trip! There are so many more stories I can share about the sweetheart of a friend she was. When she first told me she was having a baby I was so happy for her. I told her that I'm always here you no matter what! No matter what it was I always tried my best to help out my buddy. I can't believe that my buddy is gone! Her life ended just when it started. I know how hurt I am and I can only imagine what everyone one in the family must feel. I drove past her house and saw the 1 candle lite the other night and I just stopped tried to make sense of it all but I couldn't. I can see her smiling face holding her children. I can see her happiness when she brought her kids to see the fire trucks and it brought me a smile when I saw her children smiling. When I heard the news late Monday morning I thought to myself this can't be true. I thought to myself this is a dream but its not. Erin was called back from this earth to do another job. God seems to be unfair when this happens. I can hear her voice. "Mike Whats Up Buddy"? What are ya doing"? I can't help but wonder what job could be so important that GOD took her back! What's more important than being a Mother, Daughter, Sister, Cousin and Friend? So as I end this very short story of my friendship with Erin, I want to tell her she will never be forgotten and I will never forget the memories we shared together. "May God Bless" her children and family! R.I.P. Erin.

It is sad when we lose people,but at a young age is so much more difficult. But one thing life has taught is to remember the life of the person. Such fond memories of Erin with Summer as young children puts a smile where sorrow exsists. Our condolences to all and Erin is in our prayers.
