Fred Fischer Obituary
AGE: 96 • Manchester
Fred H. Fischer, 96, of Manchester, died September 14, 2013 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Newark he resided in Bloomfield and Clark before moving to Manchester 19 years ago. Mr. Fischer was an aviation machinist for TWA at Newark Airport for 40 years before retiring in 1980. Mr. Fischer served in the Navy during WWII and was a member of the VFW and American Legion both of Clark, he also was a member of the Bocci Ball Club at Leisure Village West, an avid golfer he also enjoyed playing Bocci Ball and horseshoes and was a world traveler and a former member of Temple Beth Or, Clark.
Surviving are his daughters Cheryl Moore, Cynthia and her husband Paul Stulpin a step-son Gary Rosen and 8 grandchildren. Mr. Fischer was predeceased by his two wives Julia (Bensa) and Eleanor (Simpson) and his son Robert Fischer.
Funeral Services conducted from the Menorah Chapels at Millburn, 2950 VauxHall Road, Union, NJ on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Interment in the Beth David Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ.
