Gail Hauselt Obituary
AGE: 73 • Galloway
Gail Elizabeth Hauselt - 73, of Galloway, formerly of Avon, passed away peacefully on Monday October 31, 2016 with her family by her side.
Gail was born in Long Branch, NJ and was a graduate of Wall Township High School and Potomac State College. She was married to William "Jerry" Hauselt, Sr. and they celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this past September.
Gail was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed greatly by all that knew her. She was an active resident of Four Seasons at Smithville, where for several years she ran the community Bingo and was a member of the Architectural Control Committee. When she wasn't spending time with her loving family and dear friends, Gail loved to knit and crochet, find good shopping bargains, dine at local restaurants, and spoil her little rescue dog, Noodles. A lifelong resident of the Jersey Shore, Gail lived in Avon-by-the-Sea where she raised her family before retiring to Smithville in 2005. Gail is survived by her loving husband Jerry, and her five children, Jerry Jr. (Suzanne), Wallingford, CT; Gretchen, Haddon Twp, NJ; Scott (Deirdre), Avon, NJ; James, Galloway, NJ; and Christopher, Brooklyn, NY and the grandchildren she adored, Riley, Cole, William, John, and Thomas. She is also survived by her brothers Thomas (Ingrid) Colyard of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Robert (Janet) Colyard of Brick NJ. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mildred Colyard.
Family and Friends are invited to gather Friday, November 4th, 6pm at Johnson-McGinley Funeral Home 2652 Hwy 138, Wall from 3-7pm with a Chapel Service.
A Remembrance Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5th Four Seasons at Smithville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you help our neighbors in need by making a donation to the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean County, 3300 Route 66, Neptune NJ 07753 in Gail's name.

Jerry and Family.... I was so saddened to hear of Gail's passing .... she will always remain and have a special place in everyone's hearts and minds for all those she touched throughout the years! I do have such fond memories of all our great times over the years living in Avon along with sharing many laughs with you and Gail in Avon by the Sea.....My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
