Joseph Fucetola Obituary
AGE: 93 • Ortley Beach
Joseph Fucetola, 93, of Ortley Beach, passed on Monday, March 12, 2012 at his home. Born in Newark he lived in Kearny for most of his life before moving to Toms River in 1980 and Ortley Beach in 2004. He was co owner with his brothers of Fucetola Brothers Builders and Developers for over 50 years, he was also manager and proprietor of several bowling centers located in North Arlington, Newark, Elizabeth and Bayonne. His favorite was the Arlington Lanes. He was a long time member of the Kearny Lions Club.
He is predeceased by his wife, Mary "Dolly" who passed in 1999 and his grandson, Ryan Joseph Bennett who passed in 2010. He also has two sisters and five brothers who have also passed. He is survived by his son, Joseph and his wife Dorothy Fucetola of Ft Collins, CO, MaryLynn Bennett of Point Pleasant, Eileen and her husband John Arnold of Toms River; two brothers, Ralph Jr and Fred Fucetola; his grandchildren, Jay Fucetola, JaimeLynn Bennett, Corey & Elizabeth Fucetola and Brianna Arnold.
Visiting will be Thursday, 4-8 pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd, Toms River, funeral services Friday, 9:30 am at the funeral home, arrive 9:00 am, interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517, would be appreciated. www.silvertonmeorial.com

Joe was simply the Best! God broke the mould after He made Joe. He had a great big heart of gold and would help anyone in need. He was a blessing to me and my family. He will be greatly missed. God Bless you Joe. You and Dolly were the greatest and we have many happy memories with you and your family.
You were second parents to my daughter Cheryl. Eileen is her best friend in the whole world.

Joe was a wonderful neighbor......he always greeted us with a big smile and a kind word. We will think of him often when we feed his favorite ducks. We are so sorry to be away for Spring Break and unable to attend his services.
