AGE: 74 • Freehold

Margaret Iorio, 74, of Freehold, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Margaret was born in Jersey City and resided there before settling in Freehold 45 years ago. She was a manager for Sunny Day Laundromat in Howell before retiring many years ago. Margaret was a devoted Mother and Grandmother. She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Helen McLaughlin; and her husband, Sam Iorio. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Samuel and Lori Iorio of Jackson; her daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Alfred A. Galvan of Jackson, and Cynthia and Cicero Butler of Freehold; her brother, Richard McLaughlin of Toms River; and her grandchildren, Casey Iorio, Katrina Iorio, Samuel Iorio, Christopher Iorio, and Alfred Samuel Galvan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Mass at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25 at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. Memorial donations may be made in Margaret's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 and would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. For further information, please visit www.hasslerfuneralhome.com.

I am so very sorry to hear of your Loss, My condolences to the entire Iorio Family. Cynthia and I pretty much grew up together and Margaret became like a second mom to me. May she Rest in Peace and the family find comfort in family and friends. With Deepest Sympathy~
