Patrick Connelly Obituary
AGE: 55 • Howell
Patrick died at Monmouth Medical Center-Southern Campus, Lakewood, NJ. He was born in Lakewood, and resided in Howell, NJ for his whole life. Pat was in construction for most of his life before retiring four years ago. He was a parishioner of The Church of St. Veronica, Howell and an avid Yankee and Nascar fan.
Pat was predeceased by his parents, Gilbert and Gloria Connelly and his two best friends and brothers, Mark and Timothy Connelly. Surviving are his daughter, Candice Skoog and her husband Matt, his two beloved grandsons, Cole and Chase Skoog, his sister, Diane Bordonaro and her husband John, his sister-in-law, Karen Connelly, many nieces and nephews, his beloved friend/nephew, Mark Connelly, his ex-wife, Linda Connelly-Capalbo, his "buddy" and companion, Jeanine Anochin, and his little dog "Loco".
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 12 from 4 p.m until his memorial service at 5:30 pm. at the DiCostanzo family owned, Lakewood Funeral Home, 6250 Highway 9, Howell.

Oh Uncle Pat, you loved everyone in your quiet way. You never liked or needed attention. You were a beautiful, kind, caring soul that loved his family so strongly. Maybe too strongly, Anytime we needed help he would offer immediately . We know how much you loved your family and we love you. You will be remembered in our heart s always.

I was so saddened to read this. I remember Patrick as a little guy in my class. Smiles from ear to ear and kind to all. His mom would always tell me what he was doing as he grew up whenever I would see her. A special place in my heart for that little guy. May his memory be a blessing to you all

I knew all the Connelly brothers, Diane & their mother Gloria. My heart goes out to Diane for having to say goodbye to each and every one of them. I never met his daughter but I saw her picture and I'm sure she was the true love of his life. May God bless her & give them all peace of mind thru this most difficult time. Must be some laughter in the heavens going on, they were always fun to be around!

Pat, there's a hole in our family without you. I'm sorry you had to leave, but I know you are at peace. I can only imagine the ruckus in heaven when you arrived! Congratulations on your new granddaughter, MacKenzie. I am sure you were there! Hugs to everyone in heaven. I know they are never far. Please know how much you are loved.
