Jeffrey Westbrook Obituary
Jeff was born on Jan. 28, 1960, to the late Wyce and Anita Westbrook of Cincinnati. Jeff proudly served his country for 26 years, retiring in 2005 at Eglin Air Force Base. He worked briefly for Crestview Aerospace and most recently in Civil Service at the 46th Test Wing.
He was a loving husband of 26 years to Evelyn Joyce (Jenkins) of Fort Walton Beach; and a devoted father to sons, Jerrell Westbrook of Fort Walton Beach, and Jeremy and James Westbrook of Orlando, Fla.; and forever "Grandpi Jeff" to Isaiah Westbrook of Crestview, Fla. He is also survived by his sisters, Alicia Westbrook of Cincinnati, and Angeia Baynes of Greensboro, N.C.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at McLaughlin Mortuary on Monday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
McLaughlin Mortuary, 17 Chestnut Ave., Fort Walton Beach, is entrusted with the arrangements.

We are not sure if you remember us but we are Steve Wrights parents..we all sat MANY basketball games at NHS! Anyways, we would like to say how sorry we were to hear about Jeff. You and your family are in our prayers.
Steve was trying to get some info on your address but couldnt find anything as we moved to San Antonio Texas and he goes to University of Texas @ San Antonio. Please let the James know all of you are in our thoughts and sorry we couldnt make the funeral..we didnt get word until the other day.

I had the honor to know Jeffrey even though it was just for a short time. He was always kind and giving, his work ethic was superior. He will be missed by many, and never forgotten. My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

I remember walking by Jeff's computer and noticing a photo of a small child. Jeff told me that this was his grandson and described him as a "pistol". It was obvious that Jeff was so proud of him.
Jeff was a true asset to the airborne instrumentation section and will be greatly missed.

Msgt. Westbrook was the type of person you wanted to be around. He always welcomed you with a loving smile. I always looked forward to being greeted by him when we used to work together in the Air Force. He was a good man and I know his smile will be just the same when the day comes that I will see him again in Heaven with our Heavenly Father.

He was a wonderful friend who loved me as if I was his own daughter. He had a halariously infectious personality, which lives on in his wife, children and his grandson. As we grive please hold on to the wonderful memories he left us with. Joyce, Jerrell,Jeremy, James and Isaiah, I love you all so very much, we will be with you for you to lean on whenever you need us.
