Salem, SD - Cheryl A. Dale, 57, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at the Sanford Foundation Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls, SD of cancer.
A visitation will begin at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Ave., with the family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be 10:30 am Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, David, Salem, SD; daughters, Katie (Jon) Cade, Sioux Falls, Angel (Matt) Ziegler, Springboro, OH; son, Sean (Amber) Dale, Chancellor, SD; grandchildren, Jade Cade, Sarah Ziegler, Hannah Ziegler, Alex Dale, Caden Dale; mother, Ardys Olson, Scotland, SD; sisters, Janet (Glen) Jorgensen, Scotland, SD, Irene Strong, Dell Rapids, SD; brother, Wayne (Anne) Olson, Bloomington, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harlon; son, Jacob; and brother-in-law, Denny Strong.

Our condolences. My siblings and I have fond memories of Cheryl and her siblings when we visited Grandma Thurston who lived next door. It was great to be able to reconnect with both Cheryl and Irene this fall in Vermillion. Our hearts ache for all of you.

We are so sorry to hear that Cheryl has died, she fought a valiant battle for a long time and may she now be in peace. Really sad for all of the family, we wish peace of heart to you also as you journey on.

I worked with Cheryl at Lodgenet she was more then a co-worker she was a friend. I will miss her smile. My condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to hear about Cheryl's passing. I am a childhood friend of her and her sisters. I have fond memories of playing at their house and farm when we were small. Rest in peace, Cheryl!
