So sorry to hear about this tragedy. I have many fond memories of Dan. A few years ago we went to Disney World and left Sioux Falls on the same flight then ran into Dan, Joan, and Matt outside of Primetime Cafe at Hollywood Studios. They went every year and still hadn't seen everything.
He always took students and parents on trips abroad enjoying each one as special!
He worked with Bob Peters pouring our garage floor and foundation.
Dan talked me into taking his reading class for a quarter a few times in the old Junior High. It was lots of fun and very rewarding. His huge sombrero was always up.
I remember he would have students do performance for the grade school students. They were really good!
