Edward Lee Kolberg, age 83, of Mason, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023, at Agrace Madison. He was born Feb. 5, 1940, in Ashland, the 14th of 16 children, to John and Marvel (Knox) Kolberg.
Ed resided in Wisconsin, Illinois and Texas during his lifetime and spent his retirement years in Mason. He was proud of his sons Greg, Jim and Kris and of course his Norwegian heritage. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and loved camping, woodworking, ginger brandy, and playing the accordion, guitar, and keyboards.
Surviving are his sons, Greg (Jody) of Littleton, CO and Kris (Jennifer) of Belvidere, IL; four grandchildren, Jamie, Angel, Kaiya and Kaleb Kolberg, three great-grandchildren Dusty Kolberg and Stealey and Ayrana Alba and one remaining sibling Harold "Butch" Kolberg and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son Jim, his second wife Vicky and his third wife Sharon, his parents, and five sisters and nine brothers,
A celebration of life will be held January 6, 2024 from 12:00 -3:00 pm at The Alley, 806 Main St. West, Ashland. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend.

I'm so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. He was a great customer and friend to us here at Marthaler Honda Toyota. We developed a close relationship with Ed over the years, will miss him dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones in the difficult time.
