Family-Placed Death Notice
COLLINS, Dennis Dennis Collins, age 76, of Phoenix, Arizona died Monday August 31, 2009 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Mr. Collins was born in Seminole county, GA. He had lived in the Atlanta area for most of his life and had lived in Phoenix, Arizona for the past 4 years. He was an insurance broker. Dennis was a Korean War veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Debra Collins, Phoenix, Arizona; daughters, Karin Carter, Marietta, GA, Kelly Regus, Roswell, GA; half sister, Yvonne Bradberry, Tallahassee, Florida; 4 Grandsons. A memorial service will be held Saturday September 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Camp Glisson Chapel in Dahlonega, Ga. Rev. Malone Dodson will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of Northeast Ga. Medical Center 2150 Limestone Parkway Suite 222 Gainesville, Ga. 30501 or the American Heart Association 1720 Epps Bridge Parkway Suite 108-383 Athens, Georgia 30606. Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of arrangements. 706-864-4159.

Dear Debbie: We will miss that crazy sense of humor that was uniquely Dennis and his wonderful laugh. We enjoyed having you two as neighbors and friends in Conyers, not to mention traveling buddies. It was good to visit with you this week at the cabin and we know your good memories will sustain you as you go through this rough period.
