Marilyn Adams Obituary
1940 in Tyrone, to the late Alvin and Johnnie Mae Mayfield. She was a lifelong member of Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone, where was a witness to all. Marilyn was preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Johnnie Mae Mayfield; sister, Alvene Grantham; brother, Larry Mayfield. She is survived by daughter, Cathy (Tim) Brown; son, John Adams; granddaughter, Charity (Steve) Madden; great-grandchildren, Brooke and Brittany Madden; brothers, McKay (Glenda) Mayfield and Murray (Connie) Mayfield; and numerous nieces and nephews, including a very special great-niece, Leigh Craigmyle. A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Kindred Hospice - www.kindredhealthcare.com.
