Peter Gottschalk Obituary

GOTTSCHALK, Peter Uwe

Peter Uwe Gottschalk, aged 82, passed away on January 10, 2025. He was born on June 25, 1942 to Heinz Friedrich Gottschalk and Edith Babetta Oechslen in Schweinfurt, Germany. He lived in Miami, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia, and San Ramon, California. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a graduate of Florida State University.

Peter was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was known for his outgoing disposition and humor, and his dedication to sports, jogging, boating, and fishing.

Throughout his life, Peter achieved many accomplishments in Medical Sales and touched the lives of countless individuals through his upbeat personality and sense of humor.

He was predeceased by Randall Pickerd Ambrose, his loving wife of 49 years. Peter will be deeply missed by his son. Michael Harold (Karen) Gottschalk; brothers, Max Cohen, Alan Cohen, Joachim Gottschalk, Harald Gottschalk, and Rolf Gottschalk; cousin, Barbara Martin; and grandsons, Peter Gottschalk and Ryan Gottschalk.

A Celebration of Life will be held during the Summer of 2025 to celebrate Peter's life, laughter, and memories. A post will be made on Facebook and Instagram when more detailed arrangements are available.

Peter's departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his legacy will forever be cherished.
