Gail Ruspakka Scott

AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Gail Ruspakka Scott, 54, of Taylor St., Aiken, S.C., beloved wife of Ted D. Scott, Jr., died Saturday, April 10, 2004 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. A native of Ishpeming, MI, Mrs. Scott was a daughter of the late Waino and Gertrude Kulju Ruspakka. She had lived in Aiken since 1979, and was a homemaker. Before moving to Aiken she worked as a hairdresser in Michigan. She will be remembered for her love of children, evidenced by her work at the Sunshine House Daycare in Aiken for a number of years. She was a devoted mother and wife. Surviving, in addition to her husband, include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kristi Scott Yaughn and her husband James L., Jr., and Keri L. McGee and her husband Chris, all of Aiken. A brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Audrey Ruspakka, Champion, Mi., and several nieces a nd nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Gary Ruspakka and a niece, Susan Ruspakka Fraser. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
