Horace Edward Landrum

1937 - 2018

Private Graveside Services for Mr. Horace E. Landrum, who entered into rest July 15, 2018 will be conducted Wednesday afternoon in Westover Memorial Park.

Mr. Landrum was a native of Thomson, Georgia, having made Jackson his home for the past 56 years. He was a graduate of The University of Georgia with a degree in Physics and retired from Westinghouse with 33 years of service. Mr. Landrum was very active in his community where he coached pee wee football, was a member of the Lyons Club, Silver Bluff High School Booster Club, and served as Jackson Water Works Commissioner. He enjoyed photography. Mr. Landrum loved his sweetheart of 61 years and family was paramount in his life.

Survivors include his wife Margie McCorkle Landrum; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Beth Landrum, Houston, TX and Marty and Lisa Landrum, Jackson, SC; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Kirk Cross, Holly, MI and Melinda and Frank Moroz, III, Greenback, TN; eight grandchildren, Dave Landrum, Joe Landrum, Collin Landrum, Evan Landrum, Ashley Woods, Meadow Cross, Jason Moroz, and Mikel Moroz; two great-grandchildren, Andy Potts and Savannah Taylor.

The family will receive friends at the home of Marty and Lisa Landrum, 607 Fifth Street Ext, Jackson, SC 29831, Wednesday evening from 5 until 7.
