James Rowe Obituary
Mr. Rowe was born in Morris Town NJ. He retired from Thermal Ceramics and enjoyed laughing and having a great time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed singing on the praise team and playing golf and bowling.
Mr. Rowe was preceded in death by wife of 56 years, Norma Horne Rowe. He was also preceded by his daughter, Robyn Purvis. Survivors include his son, James C. Rowe III and his wife Jana, son-in-law, Dean Purvis and his wife Cathy, grandchildren, Jacob Rowe, Justin Rowe, Emily Rowe, Matthew Rowe, April Purvis, Andrew Purvis. His sister, Patty Lavolpe, brother, Doug Rowe and other family members, Rose Jordan, Velda Schirhart and her husband Gene, Ina Miller and several nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be Danny Starling, Leo Roche, Mark Jacobson, Leo Davis, Gene Hollins and Johnny Hollins.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Whole Life Ministries, American Cancer Society or to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.

I went to Whole Life this AM to pray and was saddened to learn from Betsy about Jimmy's passing. I am so glad he got to live with his son and family at the end. My husband Clay and I will always cherish our happy memories at Mize Methodist with the Rowe's and their two children. We were so blessed to know these two servants of the Lord.

Many fun memories of Mr. Rowe since the first day he hired me--my boss, my mentor, my friend. We shared so much laughter. He will be missed from the heart for sure. Rest in peace my friend and let perpetual light of our Lord shine on you forever.

We were saddened to hear of Pops passing. Seeing him with you all at church over the last few years was a lovely sight. The smile on his face beamed from the love he had for all of you. Prayers of comfort during this sad time.

We enjoyed getting to know Pops the last several years. He was a dear man who loved and was loved by family and friends. We will miss him, but know he is whole in Heaven. Love and prayers to you Rowe's. ❤
