Robert Edmunds

LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. Robert A. Edmunds, 83, of 3764 Double Branches Rd. entered into rest on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Georgia Health Sciences Medial Center in Augusta, Ga. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Martin Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Kenneth Law, Rev. James James and Rev. Keith Etheridge officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Edmunds Wells, Joe Racy Wells, Clay Bolton, Wellington Burch, Gene Thornton, David Haynes and Russell Reese. Mr. Edmunds was the son of the late William Clay Edmunds and the late Ester Mae Cunningham Edmunds. He was retired from Milliken and a member of Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church. Robert loved southern gospel music and was very instrumental in booking groups at Martin's Crossroad's. Survivors include two sons, Bobby Edmunds and wife, Wanda and Dale Edmunds and wife, Jule, both of Augusta and four grandchildren.
