AUGUSTA, Ga. - Timothy L. Brown entered into rest Sunday, June 9, 2013, in the VA Medical Center, Augusta Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with the Reverends Samuel J. Brown and Dave Vosseller officiating with military honors. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service. Mr. Brown was born in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Calvin and Marie Brown. He was a Navy veteran and had served in Vietnam. He was a graduate of Harlem High School and had worked for the Grovetown and Lincolnton Police Departments. Survivors include one daughter, Katie Oates, Sardis, Ga; two granddaughters Shannon (Wesley) Williamson and Cassie Oates; one brother Tommy (Linda) Brown; his good friend Shirley Beckworth; and three nephews.
