To the Hughes family and especially my two sister in laws Janet and Bette and my brother Otis....my heart goes out to you all in the loss of Mr. Hughes. Janet and Bette, I wished I could be there for you, like you were there for me and the family when we lost our mom. I wished I could give you both a hug right now.....but know that I pray for strength to get you through the next days, weeks, months, and years.

To the Family: Mr. Hughes lived a very prosperous and rewarding life. A strong man that raised up Rosewood Avenue "kids". No sorrow here, cause he did what God would have him to do. Earth has no sorrows that heaven can not heal..........always remember that. Love and Hugs..... Peewee (Rufus B. Smith Jr.)~)

A beautiful soul has went home to be with our Lord. Heaven is rejoicing because Uncle Robert has come home. I pray that all the memories of this kind and gentle, and often humorous soul will comfort you in the days, the weeks, the months and the years ahead. He blessed so many people lives. I will miss him. My prayers are with each one of my family members. May the peace of God rest and rule over each of you.
