Ruby Berrios Obituary

Ruby Isabel Berrios Our precious jewel, Ruby Isabel Berrios, born June 3, 2008 entered the kingdom of heaven the evening of January 26, 2010. She fought a hard and long battle against a congenital heart defect but is now resting in peace with her new heart. Although she was only with us for a short time, she inspired and touched the hearts of many people. Every moment spent with Ruby was a blessing to all and we thank God for lending her to us. She will forever live in our hearts and will never be forgotten. Ruby Isabel will always be our hero. Her family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to Dr. Ilbawi and all of the physician's and nurses in the pediatric intensive care unit at Hope Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn for their help and care. She is survived by her parents, Ruben E. and Dianette Berrios, Jr. Her grandparents, Marlene Espinal and Carmen and Ruben Berrios, Sr. Her godparents, Vivian and Robert Garibay and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive (Route 59) Naperville. Interment Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora at 1:00 p.m. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Info 630 922 9630. www.beidelmankunschfh.com.

Dear Reuben and Dianette,

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I am so glad that I was able to take care of Ruby. Ruby had the most caring, dedicated, and nicest parents that a little girl could ask for. I know Ruby is looking down at you both with her little red shoes saying that she is doing great and not in anymore pain and she will always be daddy's little girl. Even though Ruby was in my life for a short time she has left a lasting impression on me along with the time that was able to meet her wonderful parents. My belief is that everything happens for a reason and I believe you were put into my life for a reason. God Bless you both to try to ease the pain day by day.
