Gene Bell Obituary
90, of Waddell, AZ died on June 17, 2016 in the comfort of his residence. Gene lived the majority of his adult life in Johnston, Iowa. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn, of 69 years. In addition, he is survived by his son, Ward (Linda) and grandchildren Kristi and JT Bell and Mark Miranda. Gene was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II. His hobbies included raising game chicken and horses and arguing politics with Ward. Memorial services will be held at 6:30 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85020, with reception to follow. A private interment will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at a future date. Visit hansenmortuary.com for condolences.
