Ilene Sidwell Obituary
Passed away: 10 Sept. 2013, in West Jordan, UT. Born- 20 Sept. 1928 to Virginia (Virgi) Whisler on a farm in the small town of Vinita, OK. Graduated from business college, with Honors in Tulsa, OK In 1948 and moved to Phoenix, AZ. in 1954. She was Executive Secretary to the President of A1 Brewery, later known as Carling National Brewery in Phoenix for 29yrs. She was a member of the Women's Business group "The Pilot Club" of Phoenix, AZ. She married Ferris K. Sidwell on Feb. 8th 1975 in Phoenix, AZ and lived in Scottsdale, AZ for 36yrs. then moved to West Jordan, UT for 1 1/2yrs. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virgi, younger brother Jerry, husband Ferris, and grand-daughter Sandra. She is survived by two step-sons, William (Cheryl), Fernley, NV., Donald (Shauna), Phoenix, AZ., and five grandchildren: James (Katie), West Jordan, UT., Jonathan (Jennifer), Phoenix, AZ., Joshua, Phoenix, AZ., Jenae, Phoenix, AZ., Sharron, Salinas, CA., and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Wed. Sept 18th 2013 at 9:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church in Scottsdale, AZ. 11300 N. 64th St. Scottsdale, AZ 85254. (64th St. just North of Shea Blvd.) Please Send flowers or contributions in her name to the church office.

"Memories"
Waiting, riding in the car.
Traveling to see my favorite house.
Giggles as you open up two big fancy double doors.
Running and laughing, hugging Grandaddy, boy, we grew.
Stepping into your pretty pink room.
Chasing each other around the shaggy green rug.. Zoom Zoom.
Sitting silent in the dark, watching slides of memories past, each one clicks by.
Picking cumquats in the backyard.
The desert sky so crisp and warm.
Tasting carrot cake and hominy cheese blast
I wish my childhood, visiting you would never have ended...
But, my love for the two of you will always last.
