My heart goes out to Mr. McDonnell's family and friends. I am so happy he was able to see his WWII Memorial in Washington DC with Honor Flight. As a volunteer for Honor Flight it was my honor and great pleasure to be at the airport seeing Mr. McDonnell off and welcome him home from the trip with a hero's fanfare long overdue.
Much love,
