JOHN CROWE Obituary

Crowe, John A
83 of PHOENIX, AZ, passed away on JULY 19, 2017 after a three year battle with brain cancer. John was born July 6, 1934 in Hempstead, New York to George and Helen "Honey" (Cullen) Crowe. He graduated from Hempstead High School and Suffolk County Community College. On November 3, 1956 he married his one true love Helen Beth Carlton in Baldwin, NY. John spent time in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1958. He was employed as a Lineman by Long Island Lighting Company until his retirement in 1996. John spent his free time in the company of family and friends. John is survived by his three sons John (Adrienne) Crowe of Denver, CO; Christopher (Liz) Crowe of Scottsdale, AZ; and David (Alice) Crowe of Mount Kisco, NY; grandchildren Sam, Christopher, Rachel, Shane, Matthew, and Megan; brother Tommy of Greenlawn, NY, and friend Lupe Madrid, with whom he enjoyed spending time. John was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Helen, siblings George and Mary, as well as his much-loved pug Jessie. At John's request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions in honor of John may be made to SAVE MEANT TO RESCUE Dog Rescue Organization c/o 2002 N Airport Road, Williams, AZ 86046
