John A. Davis Jr.

John Davis Obituary

John A. Davis, Jr. 81, of Mesa, AZ formerly of Boston, MA was born Nov. 9, 1922 in Boston, the son of John Sr. and Lillian Davis. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and had worked for the U.S. Postal Service until retirement. John was a member of the Choir at People's Baptist Church in Boston and had moved to Arizona six years ago to be near his daughter. He is survived by his daughter Elaine Brimage, sister Mary Ruth Davis and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8:00p.m. Monday at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd, Scottsdale, Az with a graveside service 10:00 am Tuesday March 2, 2004 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ.
