Leonard McGill Obituary

McGill, Leonard Edward
48, of Scottsdale, passed away on February 27, 2013, after a short battle with lung and liver cancer. Leonard was born in Torrance, California May 21, 1964. He moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 1980 and graduated from Coronado High School. Leonard was an avid lover of the outdoors. He loved fishing, camping, cooking, and spending time with family. Leonard was preceded in death by his brother Harold McGill and father Wallace McGill. Leonard is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sharon Lynn McGill, mother Delores Jean McGill, sister Carol Louise McLennan (Gordon), sister Mary Ann Banayat (Michael), nieces Stephanie Ann Moore, Catherine Beatrice McLeannan, and nephew Sean Kenneth McLennan. A visitation will be held from 11am to 12pm, Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., in Scottsdale. A 12:30pm graveside service will take place following the visitation at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society: www.cancer.org or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital: www.stjude.org.
