Nona Butt Obituary
passed away March 30, 2015. She is survived by her husband Oscar A. Butt, and her children Barbara and John. She was the daughter of Colonel and Mrs. John L.M. des Islets. Nona was a gifted painter and sculptor. She attended art school at Berkeley. She married Oscar in Panama City, Florida in 1950. They were married over 64 years. Nona was active as a volunteer with the Institute of Logopedics and the Scottsdale Girls Club. She was a longtime member of Valley Presbyterian Church and served as a deacon. Nona had a wonderful life, traveling the world with Oscar. She is very much loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Valley Presbyterian Chapel in Paradise Valley, on April 8, 2015.

Dear Oscar, Barbara and John,
I am so sorry to hear of Nona's passing. She was a dear friend to Mim and Don Mom always referred to her as "the classiest lady." I hope you find comfort in your memories of her.
