R. Clark Obituary

R. D'Arcy Clark, 58, of Higley, AZ, passed away gracefully March 10, 2007 while surrounded by his loved ones. He had a zest for life and a love for the wilderness. He was an avid hunter, falconer and fisherman. He also loved western novels and movies. D'Arcy was protective of his family, chose his friends carefully and was never shy about sharing his opinions. His loyalty was unmatched and cherished by all that were fortunate enough to share his life. His loving wife Dian and daughter Jana were always by his side during his illness. They never wavered during the difficult times and always maintained their courage and most important ....his dignity. He always said, he lived a charmed life. He is also survived by his daughters Elizabeth and Laurie Gene, brothers Daniel, Christopher and Brian, parents Richard and Helen, four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

D'Arcy and I ran around together from junior high through the mid 70's. We spent many great seasons hunting and fishing in the Jackson area. Our lives went in separate directions and I lost track of him and his family. From reading this obituary it appears that he carried many traits from his youth into later life. He was a good friend with strong loyalties and opinions. I was sorry to hear of his death. My condolences to his family.
