Huggins, Robert B. Sr. "Bob",
73, of Maricopa, AZ, passed away with his family by his side on November 28, 2008. He was born in Hope Mills, NC. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine of 50 years. He is survived by his four children, Cynthia, Robert, Jr., John and Sharon; sons-in-law, Dean and Richard; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 sister and his loving companion, Laura. Bob's life was blessed and surrounded with love. He was a successful business entrepreneur and spent his free time traveling and playing in poker tournaments. He will be remembered for his ability to make each person in his life feel special. Every Christmas Eve wearing his Santa hat, his children, grandchildren, family and friends would gather around the tree waiting for our special Santa. As a father he had only unconditional love. As a papa to his grandchildren his words of wisdom, knowledge of courage, dignity of respect, love and strive for success through education will live on for generations to come. Bob is now in our Lord's Kingdom and forever in our hearts. Visitation will be held from 5-8PM, Monday, December 1, 2008, Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale. Funeral services will be held at 1PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2008, Hansen Desert Hills Chapel.

Hello papa - o know it been a while . A lot has been happening and so many life changes that I'm sure you have flip over in the casket and made you sit up a few times . Life has been hard I love each and ever day for that day hoping tomorrow is better then today was.

I hope your enjoy Hans company up their and he teaching you how to fish and enjoy time in the after world where ever it may be. I love you papa and I wish you were here so bad to just get one of your hugs from you or to tell me how much you love me and care about me. I wish you wrap your arms around. Me and let me cry on your shoulder god please take care of him he is one of a kind papa and I can't wait to get their one day and see you again until then my time on earth is not finish and I must stay here for my girls and hopefully some grandchildren soon.

Papa sometimes i just want to talk to you and tell you how much i miss you and say I love you. I can't put into words how hard this day is for me each year. When you left us you brought me the greatest gift in the world a healthy happy baby boy every time I look at him I think of you. So much could have went wrong that day and you where watching over me making sure we where safe. It's been 4 years and I still remember picking up the phone to tell you you had a great grand son and hearing those dreading words. I know you are in a better place and are watching the boys grow but I just wish you where here so they could sit on your lap and hug you. Give grandma a kiss from us and tell her we love her. I did not miss your birthday this year. I never forget. It is amazing how each person in your family your were able to touch in a different way. I know much of my drive and determinationg comes from my mom, and I know she learned that from you. Thank you for all the blessing you have given to your family. Please tell all those with you just how much I miss them. I know you are watching over each and everyone of us and full of pride at the legacy you left behind. You have become immortal due to that legacy. Trynity misses you and talks about you often. I still remember the first day you visted her and held her for hours. Hi PAPA, I miss you I can rememeber alomst a year ago so clear in my mind. I brought my Mom, uncle's dinner ,As they would not leave your side. .

You and grandma were the true mean of FAMILY and what it stud for. I wish you were her to fix everything and make everything better. You were the rock, the king, grandma your queen, you held us up and together.
You and Grandma are so love, and miss so dearly. As the holiday come and go again the our hurt builds more of missing you, and not see you, we know you are happy.

Hello Popa,

Your birthday passed. I woke up that morning and felt a deep loneliness. It was raining and my little girl said "mommy do you think the angel in heaven are crying, because they are celebrating popa's birthday. As I sat at the light the loneliness grew stronger, becuase for the first time for as long as I can remember, I could not call you on your birthday. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Huggins family!! I just found out that my friend, Bob, has passed away. I knew him for close to 20 years and just a few years ago spent a wonderful week (with his best friend Hap and friend, Laura) at one of his villa's in Mexico!! I will treasure my memories of Bob, he was the most gentle, kind, loving man I knew and I will miss him dearly!! I'm sure Kathy was waiting (with open arms) to greet him at the pearly gates Bob has a wonderful family and their generosity, kindness and love and respect he and Kathy taught them shined through any time I saw them!!
