Terry Davis Obituary

Terry Clayton Davis, born July 27, 1946, passed away January 17, 2016.  Born in Phoenix, Arizona Terry went to Phoenix Union High School where he met his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Judy.  They were married June 18, 1966 and remained best friends and inseparable until his death.  In June of 1966 they moved to Flagstaff to attend Northern Arizona University.  Terry graduated in 1969 with a degree in Secondary Education then immediately began his 35-year career at Flagstaff High School teaching Social Studies where he was also a Student Council Sponsor for many years.

Terry served six years with the National Guard. One of his favorite summer jobs was an adult leader for the Youth Conservation Corp. (YCC).  He was also a Little League coach and Church Youth leader.

Never wanting to sit idle, Terry had several hobbies through the years.  He dearly loved camping and travelling, tending his flower gardens, hunting, fishing, collecting antiques and Dutch ovens.  More than anything, Terry loved being a grandpa.

Terry is survived by his wife Judy, sons Chad (Linda), Eric (Lori), grandkids Sean (Melissa), Ashlee, Levi, Craig, Dylan and Parker, brother Randy and his best four-legged buddy Snickers.  He was proceeded in death by his parents Clayton and Eileen.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday January 23rd at Trinity Heights Church at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers the family wishes for everyone to enjoy a meal or outing with their loved ones in honor of Terry.  Arrangements by Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary, www.FlagstaffMortuary.com.
