Diane Ramos Obituary

Lamont Diane Ramos, age 64, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 1, 2023. She was born April 5, 1959 to Daniel Gutierrez and Mary Gayton. She was a 1977 graduate of Arvin High School and attended Bakersfield College where she obtained numerous units in child development.
She began her career working as a daycare provider which she passionately embarked on for roughly 40 years. In 1984 she began working for TAP Migrant Center, followed by KCSOS and lastly for Community Action Partnership where she retired from on February 10, 2023. Diane had a gift for working with children. She was compassionate, kind and patient, and her love for children was unwavering.
Diane is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 45 years, Gerardo Ramos. Her daughters Marina Aguirre, Cesilia Ramos, Dianna Servantes (Adam Servantes), son Gerardo S. Ramos (Sarai Rodriguez) and 8 grandchildren. As well as her brothers, Richard and Ernie Gutierrez; and vast extended family.
The Ramos & Gutierrez Family wish to express their sincere gratitude to all those who have supported them during this time of loss. They thank you for extending your thoughts, prayers and love. In addition, they extend their gratitude to the Basham Funeral Care and Harmony Baptist Church, and the ladies from Community Action Partnership; The Sterling Center, Primero Pasos and San Diego Center for their assistance.
Our mother, our Nana, Diane, will be greatly missed, but forever remembered!
