MARTHA MENA Obituary
She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her 5 children Daniel "Corky" Mena, Jim Mena, Joel Mena, Arnie Mena & Rayna Mena, 6 grandchildren Monet Clark, Monica Mena, Joel Mena, Brittani Gregory, Tedi Rae Brown & Luci Belle Storer, 9 great-grandchildren Catherine, Colton, Jason, Cy, Savannah, Jun, Jae, Liam & Gianna and also loved by numerous nieces, nephews & godchildren, whom she helped raise.
She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond F. Mena, son Joel A. Mena, parents Chello and Mary Martinez, sisters Rachel Stevens and Millie Herrera and her brother Tony Martinez.
She was a longtime member of the Kern River Golf Course and loved her job cooking specialties there in the kitchen for the players, staff, friends and members alike. Cooking was her passion.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 7th at St. Joseph Church (1515 Baker St.). The rosary will begin at 9:25a.m. and funeral mass to start at 10:00a.m.

Thank you Martha. You are one of the first people I met in Town. One that was particularly pleasant and encouraging. Condolences to her family and other friends, because I know she will be missed. I am blessed for the time to share with her here. She is a positive force.

Mena Family, I am so sorry to read about Martha. I remember her from the Golf Course days. I really enjoyed working with her. I will never forget that she helped me from traveling back & forth to my home by opening up her home for me. I will always consider her a very good friend. Again, my condolences. I don't think there was anyone who did not enjoy Martha's company. I would have some of her special food even if I was not hungry because I didn't want to miss a talk and food treat. Love to Martha's memory and family.
