Micheal Raymond Haworth January 7, 1962 - October 25, 2012 Micheal Raymond Haworth was born January 7, 1962, taken from us on October 25, 2012, due to a short illness. Mike was born in Bakersfield to Raymond and Sandra Haworth Mathews, he attended schools in Shafter and graduated from Shafter High in 1980. In 1986 Mike and his ex-wife Billie welcomed their son Andrew and in 1987 their second son Jeremy was born. In 1995 Mike married the love of his life Michele Epstein. Together they built Mike's Asphalt and Construction and later Mike's Striping into a successful enterprise doing business around the state. He enjoyed racing his dragster at Famoso, Sacramento and Las Vegas Raceways. He enjoyed Nascar and spending time snowmobiling and snowsking at his place in Mammoth. Mike was preceded in death by his mother Sandy Haworth Mathews, grandparents Elby Patrick, Aline Ingledew, and George and Almedia Haworth. He is survived by his father Raymond (Betty), sister Lori McLemore (Ted) and brother David (Christina). Beloved wife Michele and her son Shaun D. Field. His sons Andrew (Tami) and Jeremy and grandchildren Melanie and Samantha. Mike and Michele's "adopted" daughter Shandi Tipton. Many aunts, uncles and cousins. Viewing Wednesday, October, 31st from 2-8pm at Peters Funeral Home, in Shafter. Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 1 at 11:30 am at Shafter Memorial Park. www.bakersfield.com/obits
