I'm sorry Paul and I could not be at Reuben's funeral. Our thoughts and prayers were with all the family throughtout the weekend and will continue.
I am so thankful to have had Uncle Reuben and his family in my life. I know he worked hard but he also took time to enjoy God's blessings.
At family reunions I remember he would cause some type of commotion and blame it on his other brothers. He had a twinkle in his eye and Mable would just shake her head.
He is with our Father in heaven, but I know you will miss his smile.
Memories are precious and I have many fond ones of Reuben and family.

Wish circumstances would allow that I could be with for this time. My memories of Reuben are of a humble, gentle man who knew how to LOVE GOD, LOVE his family and who taught us all to enjoy and laugh and not take the burdens of this life too seriously. Praying for love, blessings, comfort and ultimately God's joy for you all as you progress through this season of sadness.

I have many great memories of Reuben while working with him for three years at the feed mill. He was a man of integrity and gave us young guys good advice and showed by example how to live and love others as ourselves. I am truly a better man for having known Reuben. Grace and peace be multiplied to you as a family. Marc Schlabach, sarasota,fl
