Richard was born August 16th, 1982 in Bakersfield, California to Richard Hidalgo and Annette Palafox. Richard grew up in Bakersfield and attended West High School.
He was a lover of nature, animals, music and cars. Richard had many friends and touched their lives. He is survived by his loving wife, Vanessa Lugo Hidalgo and his precious daughter, Viviana Violet Hidalgo; mother, Annette Palafox; father and step-mom, Richard and Terry Hidalgo; sisters Vanessa L. Hidalgo, Breanna Hidalgo and Adriana De Jesus; brother, Eddie Hidalgo; two nieces and a nephew, many cousins, aunts, uncles and loving grandparents. Richard was loved by all who knew him, we will remember his smile and sense of humor.
There will be a Rosary & Mass at St. Josephs Church on Tuesday, May 28th at 10 a.m., with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 26 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hillcrest Mortuary.
